Summoned to the grand sanctuary by the Chief of the
Hunters,
Ben stood motionless in the center of the vast, echoing
hall—
Head bowed low, his eyes fixed upon the polished marble
floor.
"Satan has escaped. Go, and cast him back to
Hell,"
declared the master in white, his piercing gaze locked
onto Ben.
"Me? A mere junior hunter? To face the Lord of
Lies?"
Ben looked up, his mind instantly racked with heavy
doubts.
"Yes, you," the Chief replied,
tapping Ben's shoulder with a sharp smile.
"Succeed, and you shall finally take your place as a
senior hunter.
The Devil has possessed a powerful mortal billionaire,
plotting to tear apart their nation, and then the entire
world.
Tell me, Ben—do you wish to see the mortal realm
destroyed?"
shaking his head in fierce defiance.
Ben the Hunter knew his solemn duty:
to hunt the shadows and banish
all demons back to the Underworld;
to protect the fragile mortal world,
and save all of humankind.
